Product Overview
The HN-CG60 oilseed expeller (also supplied as model YZJ-7.5/11) sits at the front of the line. It crushes the seed and compresses it into flakes or a rough cake, cracking the oil cells and enlarging the seed’s heated surface area. Around 35–40% of the oil is released in this first pass, and the pre-pressed material then goes on to roasting and the main hydraulic press. Plants that add this stage typically see their total oil yield rise by 3–5%.
This two-stage layout — screw pre-press followed by hydraulic finishing — is the standard setup for mustard, rapeseed and groundnut in India, Southeast Asia and Africa. The machine arrives fully assembled, needs no specialist installation, and one worker operates it.
Structure & Build
Screw crushing and roll-pressing in one unit
Seeds enter the hopper and are pushed by the screw through the pressing chamber, where they are crushed, rubbed and pressed into flakes. A discharge cone at the outlet sets the gap, so you control flake thickness and the tightness of the pre-press.
Compact steel frame, V-belt drive
The whole line — motor, pressing chamber and hopper — sits on one compact steel frame. Drive runs through belts and pulleys, which cushions shock loads and is cheap to service. The machine occupies about 1 m² and moves with a forklift.

Operation Tips From the Factory

Warm the pressing chamber for 2–3 minutes before the first feed of the day.

Best seed moisture is around 6–8% — too wet blocks the outlet, too dry produces powder instead of flakes.

Feed steadily and evenly; do not heap seed into the hopper.

Set the discharge-cone gap by material: tighten it for small seeds, loosen it for larger kernels.

At the end of a run, pass coarse bran through the chamber to clean out residual oil and meal.
