Product Overview
This drum roaster is used to roast oilseeds before hot pressing, the stage that brings out aroma and lowers moisture for a higher yield. It is built as a frame, feed hopper, rotating drum and flame hood. The motor drives the drum through a V-belt and chain wheel, turning the seeds continuously, while electromagnetic heating supplies adjustable flameless heat. One-button automatic control makes the daily routine simple.
Three standard sizes are available — the 100#, the 130# and a thickened 130# — covering batches from roughly 160 kg up to 450 kg. Other sizes can be made to order to match your press throughput.
Structure & Build
Rotating drum with sealed heating
The enclosed drum heats quickly and keeps heat inside, and the constant turning means every seed is heated evenly — no burnt bottom layer and no half-roasted top layer, which is exactly what good pressing oil needs.
Independent temperature control
Heating power and roasting temperature are set separately and held automatically, with shut-off when the set point is reached. Flameless electromagnetic heating removes the fire risk of gas or coal roasters and makes the workshop cleaner.
